The main responsibility of this position will be providing translated summary media reports for Meltwater clients in APAC, covering industries from consumer brands to top luxury groups locally and globally. The daily job is focusing on providing business-orientated information in online news media (translation required between English and Chinese).

As a Translator, you should be keen on information in news and social media. You also should have strong ability in handling massive data and think critically. Plus, you should be able to work individually and in team. To be a successful candidate, you should have the mind-set of managing routines and working to achieve a long term goal.

Basic Requirements

– Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English, spoken and written
– Proven ability to deliver with minimum supervision when time is limited
– Able to prioritize work with ongoing requests
– Strong skills of collecting and summarizing large volume of data
– Management potential, ability to work with and lead teams
– University degree. Previous Translation or International experience a plus
