Challenge Program
This is a 3.5-year graduate program with three placements, providing early career development opportunities for high potential young graduates to accumulate cross BU knowledge/skills to be future leaders. With structured development plan, graduates will benefit from a broad base of support and trainings from senior leaders, line manager, mentor and colleagues. All these personal mentoring, structured learning programs, expert advice and regular appraisals will help prepare you for great success with BP.
Role Synopsis
Understanding our customers’ needs is sales’ goal. From the most efficient sales administrators to the heads of large accounts, people working in sales share a dedication to doing the best for our customers. We can do this because we offer the world’s best lubricants (Castrol brand) that help cars, ships, aero planes and even computers run more efficiently.
In the program you’ll learn how to be the public ambassador of our business and manage a variety of customers, such as world’s leading auto manufacturers, e.g., Audi, Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, Volkswagen, Ford and other industrial, shipping or energy customers. From early your career, you’ll have the opportunity to see many different aspects of our business.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will develop and maintain distributors and coordinate the indirect regional activities and issues. Play as a contact point for national customers to meet their specific needs and provide value added offer.
– Business Planning. Develop and implement yearly business plan for customer (e.g. Tirecool) based on China’s strategy. Develop the annual execution plan in developing the specific customers
– Program implementation. Work with internal partners and external partners to roll out various programs to improve Castrol brand influence and sales volume to customers
– Cross-region Coordination. Coordinate the activities in different regions to develop and manage distributors
– Tracking. Track the KPIs of chains customers and enhance the execution of the contract and delivery of the offer by relevant parties (incl. BP, distributors and customer)s
– Ensure that all activities conducted through 3rd parties or intermediaries in responsibility area fully comply with our own Code of Conduct and local competition legalisation

Requirements
• Bachelor degree or above
• Good analytical skills, drive and enthusiasm
• Fluent English, both oral and written
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills, good team player
• Self-motivated
• Open to working location during the program
