Operations is one of the largest divisions in the firm and has diverse responsibilities, including correctly settling and recording millions of transactions per day, identifying and mitigating all operational risks, developing strong client relationships and partnering with technology to realize the full potential of IT and e-solutions. Throughout, the Operations department continually seeks ways to improve while actively supporting the development of new businesses, structures and markets.
The Client Services team within Australia Wealth Management Operations is responsible for supporting client onboarding, deceased estates processing, CHESS Sponsorship and intermediary/external planner functions for the Australia Wealth Management business. The role will be part of a team whom support both local and oversea teams relating to the onboarding and ongoing maintenance of client accounts and data integrity. The candidate should have sound trade life-cycle knowledge, and experience in a similar role within the wealth management sector.
This is a part-time role with 3 days of work per week.
Key Responsibilities Include
Ensuring all daily processes and SLAs are met within applicable timeframes
Manage day to day BAU in line with team objectives and regulatory requirements
Identifying process improvements
Maintaining a culture of high performance and excellent service for both internal and external clients
Contribute to additional administration projects as requested by management
Provide exceptional client service support to internal and external clients alike
Liaise with various departments across the wealth management business
Deceased Estates processing
Chess Sponsorship
Intermediary & External Planner administration
Qualifications
Desirable tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce.
Minimum 2 years financial markets experience.
Understanding of regulatory rules and how they apply to the business
Previous experience within similar Wealth Management role would be highly regarded.
Experience in the production of procedure writing documents, spreadsheets
Understanding of the various legislation and regulations within the financial services industry (AML, FATCA and CRS requirements)
