Introduction
We are currently looking for an Modeling and Analysis Research Scientist in Siemens Corporate Technology for Digital Factory in Mechanical Manufacturing Industry at earliest opportunity.
What are my responsibilities?
The candidate will work as a Digital Factory Modeling and Analysis Research Scientist. The candidate will dig out the needs from business units and external customer, put forward innovation projects, discuss the projects with customers, and accomplish the projects in time.
Technology research (literature survey, patent search, product review) in the technology of CNC factory digitalization;
Identify business needs from CNC factory digitalization, regarding Machine Predictive Maintenance, APS and MES application, Lean and 6-sigma production, CNC on-line monitor;
Collaborate with Siemens Colleagues and external customers to implement digitalization solution for CNC plants and other manufacture factories;
Value stream analysis for traditional production process;
Analysis and modeling for production optimization with Siemens Digitalization Solution;
Coordinate the innovation project collaboration with Universities;
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Bachelor or above, majored in finance, accounting or economics is preferred;
At least 3 years of financial institution experience in Credit or Risk Management. Exposure on equipment finance to equipment manufacturing and healthcare industrial sectors preferred;
Experience in research / consultations in the area of finance industry with background in multinational companies is preferred;
Advanced knowledge in the areas of finance and accounting and risk analysis;
Good communication skills and be proficient in English language (both written & spoken);
Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering or related major;
At least 2 years working experience in mechanical product design or manufacturing;
Good knowledge and experience with MES, MRP, CAPP, CAM;
Excellent knowledge of mechanical design and manufacture;
Familiar with systematic idea generation method, solid performance on thinking out of box and problem solving;
Good communication skills, fluent in both Chinese and English;
